Crash's Dawn

Crash stared, his eyes gleaming brightly. "The dawn light is soo pretty.." He exclaimed. He had nothing other to do but jump and start to spin on one paw like his father had taught him. His vision became blurry but he was having a fun time. Crash finally slowed down a minute later. Dust was spread everywhere. He giggled a little bit and started to watch the sun set, again.

My lithe, slim body moved gracefully through tall ferns as I made my way down to the stream. The sun was setting, through every shade of red, pin, orange, and purple across the lands, and the clouds by the sun were goilden. I sigh, feeling at ease, tehn see another fox. I crouch down, my eyes wide, and stared at him, trying to stay hidden. My grey and red fur, with a little black, blended in easily with my surroundings.

Crash heard a slight rustle and he jerked around to see nothing. He scanned the area and smirked. He swiped his tail along the ground and he sniffed the ground, hoping to at least catch a whiff of something. "Is someone there?" He asked, some hope in his voice. Crash walked forward, his eyes narrowed and his tail slightly up. He snorted and sat at the spot and wrapped his fluffy tail around himself, still peering around.

I flinch slightly, hearing that the fox had noticed me. I stand up and walk out of the bushes.
"I am," I say calmly, holding my head high, black nose pointed towards him.
"I am Dusk Dancer. And who are you?"

Crash gazed quickly at the femme. "C- Crash!" He swallowed a lump in his throat and smiled weakly as she said her name. "Wha- what are y- you doing here?"

"Are you alright?" I ask worridely, watching him stutter.

Crash sighed. Am I alright..? No.. His tail shook quickly and he said shakily, "I.. i'm fine.. J- just a little- jumpy." I'm not jumpy.. Crash thought sadly. I'm just very timid..

"Are you sure? You don't look too well," I say, cleaning one of my paws.

Crash puffed up his neck fur. "I'm fine." He said, feeling more comfortable around the fox now. "I'm just.. being me."
